Wang Yi Holds Telephone Talks with Emmanuel Bonne, Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of France

On November 1, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi held telephone talks at the request by Emmanuel Bonne, Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of France.

Wang Yi said that China highly values and welcomes President Macron to pay another state visit to China and attend the 2nd China International Import Expo. The visit will be another strategic communication between the heads of state of the two countries at the highest level. Through this visit, the two sides should sent out a unanimous signal of adhering to multilateralism, safeguarding the authority of the United Nations, and providing positive energy for the world. This is the responsibility of China and France as permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, and it is also what the comprehensive strategic partnership means. China is willing to work with France to make full preparations for President Macron's visit to China, so that the visit will yield fruitful results.

Bonne thanked China for its elaborate arrangements to receive President Macron's visit to China. Bonne said, France is willing to cooperate closely with China, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, so as to ensure the complete success of President Macron's visit, and make new progress in promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between France and China.
