At the invitation of Dr. Safwat Sherif, Chairman of the Shura Council of Egypt, Ms. Liu Yandong, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is to visit Egypt between October 9-13, 2004.

Ms. Liu and her delegation would meet Dr. Safwat Sherif, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Minister of State for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Mufid Shehab and Dr. Yousef Waly, Vice Chairman of the NDP and Chairman of Egypt-China Friendship Association.
