BEIJING, Jan 25, 2002 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received a warm welcome when he arrived in Shenzhen, in south China's Guangdong Province, Friday noon.

At a meeting with Shenzhen Mayor Yu Youjun, Mubarak said there are broad prospects for cooperation between Egypt and China, and Chinese companies, including those in the booming city of Shenzhen, are welcome to undertake economic and trade cooperation projects in Egypt.
