CAIRO, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Ahmed Sorour, speaker of the Egyptian People's Assembly, met on Saturday with a delegation from the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC).
   Speaking highly of achievements China has scored in political, economic and social areas, Sorour said that the further development of cooperation between the two parliaments will boost friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
   Mustapha Helmi, speaker of Egypt's Advisory Council, also met in the day with the Chinese delegation led by Chairman of the NPC Law Committee Wang Weicheng.
   The Chinese delegation arrived in Cairo on Friday for a week-long visit to Egypt. Enditem
