At the invitation of the National Democratic Party of Eygpt, Mr. Zhang Dejiang, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of Guangdong provincial committee is to visit Egypt between October 8-12, 2004.

Mr. Zhang and his delegation would meet the NDP Vice Chairman Dr. Yousef Waly, General Secretary Dr. Safwat Sherif, Deputy General Secreatry Dr. Kamal Mohammed Al Shazli, Secretary for Policy Planning Mr. Gamal Mubarak and Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif.

Mr. Zhang and Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif would also attend China Guangdong-Egypt Trade Fair which would be held at Grand Hyatt Hotel on October 10.  Over 100 businessmen would participate in the Fair and a dozen of contracts and cooperation agreements would be signed.
