Ambassador Wang Shijie, China's Special Envoy to the Middle East, will visit Egypt from September 6 to September 7, during which he will exchange views with Egyptian officials including Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit and the Secretary-General of the Arab League Amr Moussa on easing the current tension in the Middle East and moving forward the peace process.

 

After Egypt, Ambassador Wang Shijie will visit Lebanon and Israel to continue his three-nation tour to the region.
