Premier Li Keqiang Meets Respectively with Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Czech Prime Minister Jiri Rusnok and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk

On the afternoon of 26 November local time, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council met in Bucharest respectively with Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Czech Prime Minister Jiri Rusnok and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

When meeting with Oresharski, Li Keqiang said that at present China and Bulgaria have enjoyed fruitful exchanges and cooperation in all fields. China is ready to leverage the role of bilateral Joint Commission on Economy to conduct package study on strengthening railways, roads and other infrastructure construction, as well as cooperation on nuclear power and other major projects so as to push for new outcomes.

Oresharski expressed that Bulgaria-China relations have always enjoyed sound development. Bulgaria is ready to expand cooperation with China in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture, transportation and energy and more Chinese businesses are welcomed to invest and develop in Bulgaria.

When meeting with Fico, Li Keqiang said that next year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of China-Slovakia diplomatic relationship and bilateral relations are facing new opportunities for development. China always adheres to the principle that all countries, big or small, are equal. China is ready to work with the Slovak side to promote diversity of trade structure and to strengthen cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, finance and scien-tech innovation so as to push forward China-Slovakia relations to a new high and to promote the development of China-EU relations.

Fico expressed that Slovakia and China enjoy profound traditional friendship. Slovakia is ready to expand cooperation with China in the fields of transport infrastructure, energy and SMEs in order to turn close political relations between the two countries into more outcomes of economic cooperation.

When meeting with Rusnok, Li Keqiang said that China-Czech relations are now showing a positive growth momentum and friendly cooperation is always the main theme of bilateral relations. China is ready, based on mutual respect, to strengthen political mutual trust, to explore practical cooperation in the fields of manufacturing, infrastructure construction, clean energy and agriculture and to leverage complementary advantages in a bid to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Rusnok expressed that Czech-China cooperation enjoys huge potentials. The Czech side adheres to the one-China policy and is ready, based on the principles of mutual respect and non-interference into domestic affairs and taking the opportunity of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Czech-China diplomatic relationship next year, to keep close high-level exchanges and to expand economic, trade and investment cooperation so as to push for greater development of bilateral relations.

When meeting with Tusk, Li Keqiang said that Poland once hosted the first China-CEEC Summit and has made important contributions to China-CEEC cooperation. China attaches great importance to developing relations with Poland and is ready, in accordance with the needs of industrial transformation and upgrading of the two countries, to actively join in Poland's existing railway reconstruction, to promote cooperation in energy, environmental protection and other fields and to actively consider importing more competitive products from Poland. Hope Poland will continue to make positive efforts to push for the development of China-CEE and China-EU relations.

Tusk expressed that Poland-China cooperation enjoys a solid foundation and China's rapid development has opened up broad prospects for bilateral cooperation. Poland is ready to work with China to leverage complementary advantages and to expand cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture, mineral resources and infrastructure construction so as to continue playing a positive role in promoting CEE-China cooperation and EU-China relations.
