President Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing to Visit Indonesia, Malaysia and to Attend the 21st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting

On the morning of 2 October 2013, at the invitation of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of the Republic of Indonesia and Yang di-Pertuan Agung Abdul Halim of Malaysia, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by the special plane to pay state visit to the two countries and to attend the 21st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting to be held in Bali Island, Indonesia.

President Xi Jinping's delegation includes Mme. Peng Liyuan, wife of the President, Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, Li Zhanshu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and others.
